Casey Ringer
SECRETARY GENERAL
My name is Casey Ringer, and I am the Secretary General as well as a first-year MA student in History! I just completed my BA at CU studying History and Philosophy, and I am glad to be in Boulder for another two years. On campus, you can find me working as a TA in the History department, archiving in Norlin, and advocating for student rights as an Associate Justice in CU Student Government.
Off campus, I am an avid outdoorswoman who loves to hike, backpack, ski, and fly fish. I also enjoy cooking new foods, hanging out with my friends, and traveling.
I am eager to invite a new cohort of students to become members and friends of CU Model UN. Because of this team, I have a refreshed love of discourse, have traveled to new cities, gained leadership experience, and have found a family at CU. I am excited to welcome students of all backgrounds to our team.

Alice Canonico
UNDERSECRETARY
Hi! My name is Alice Canonico and I am a the Undersecretary as well as a sophomore in International Affairs. I am minoring in French, Russian, and Leadership and getting a certificate in Peace, Conflict and Security studies. On campus, I am also involved in the climbing and Russian clubs.
In my free time I like to ski, snowboard, climb, hike and pretty much do anything outdoors, I also love cooking and baking.
I am so excited to see this club grow and expand, I cannot wait to see what we can do. This club started as just a way for me to get a little more connect to the massive campus I found myself on and has become something I find myself looking forward to every week.

Abby Vsetecka
CO-SECRETARY OF HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCES
Hello! My name is Abby Vsetecka and I am Co-Secretary of High School Affairs, as well as a sophomore studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology here at CU Boulder! While much of my student life consists of anything and everything science, the rest of my time is filled up working as a CNA at Good Samaritan Hospital, sitting in as a member of Arts and Sciences Student Government, teaching science classes to local elementary students, and advocating for more public health education on campus!
In my minimal free time, you’ll find me outside hiking, running, or engaging in any recreational sports I can. Otherwise, I really love reading with a cup of tea and cooking (and eating) new food from all over or binging a random tv show with my friends.
I am so excited to see this club grow with people excited to be active global citizens! Although MUN started as just a fun Thursday meeting I went to after class, it has become such an integral part of my college experience, allowing me to meet so many people, see some cool places, and challenge myself to collaborate with others on difficult global issues. Please reach out to me with anything - can’t wait for this year!

Nathan Bish
CO-SECRETARY OF HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCES
I am Nathan Bish, a Sophomore student at CU Boulder and one of CUMUN’s two Secretaries of High School Affairs. I focus broadly on both pre-med and pre-law studies, so I’m always happy to help out with any type of question and make a great trivia partner. I am also an EMT, a member of Student Government, and an officer in the Hiking Club!
In my off time, I enjoy skiing, backpacking, construction/ landscaping, and getting way too invested in movies like Star Wars and Marvel. I’m also a big fan of traveling both domestically and abroad and attending festivals/ events so if you ever need advice on out-of-the-box things to do, you know who to ask.
As our club continues to welcome new members, I look forward to meeting everyone! Whether you’re looking to learn about international affairs or you’re just hoping to find a new group of people to have a great time with, joining Model UN is a great first start.

Paul-Kaan Chulliat
SECRETARY OF SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT
Hi everyone!
My name is Paul-Kaan Chulliat (most of you know me as PK), and I am returning as your Secretary of Social Engagement for the 2024-2025 school-year.
I started my collegiate journey at ASU's W. P. Carey School of Business in 2020. However, after some very valuable experience in the business world, both as a student and a professional, I decided to embark on a new journey of service to others. I transferred to CU Boulder in the Fall of 2023. Since my arrival at CU, I have been studying Psychology and Neuroscience (pre-med) and will be adding a minor in either Political Science or International Relations.
Outside of school, I enjoy working as a Mental Health Technician at a local hospital, helping those in need of help as they go through some of their most vulnerable moments.
In my free time I love to play sports such as soccer, ski, workout (Feel free to contact me if you have any interest in joining our intramural sports teams); play and listen to music and movies; travel the world; and most importantly hang out with my friends.
Growing up in a multicultural milieu, I often struggled to find my place, and I am proud to say that CUMUN has always been a place I have felt at home. I have loved being a part of this amazing family, both as a member and as an officer, and I cannot wait to see what we build together across the next year!
