High School Conference Registration

Spring 2025

Registration Information

Welcome to the University of Colorado Boulder Model United Nations Club’s Annual High School Conference (CUMUN)! We’ve recently updated how we operate registration, but have kept the same delegate fees as previous years and have simplified the processes necessary to get started.

In order to register for the conference, delegates or their sponsors must fill out the google sheet linked below. It is important to note that cells will automatically lock 30 minutes after being typed in. This is done to ensure no overwriting occurs, but participants must be careful to avoid making typos when writing in names, emails, and schools. If any changes need to be made outside of the 30 minute window, please reach out to “modelun@colorado.edu”.

If you have any questions about the CUMUN registration process, please first visit our FAQ located at the bottom of this page. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to email modelun@colorado.edu and we will get back to you ASAP. We look forward to seeing you all on January 25th!

Note: Background guides can be viewed on the Conference Materials tab, here.

SPONSORS PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR EMAIL IN LIEU OF STUDENTS’. Also please leave your information on the sheet entitled “SPONSOR REGISTRATION” so we can get in contact with you as needed.

Registration FAQs

  • That’s easy! Feel free to access the Google Sheet and type in the names of each student next to whichever country you would like them to represent. We recommend coming with backup plans in case an option is taken.

  • No worries at all. Simply send us an email at modelun@colorado.edu as soon as you realize a mistake has been made, and we will be happy to help solve the problem.

Additionally, if we notice any issues on the back end with registration, we will email the sponsor directly wherever possible, so remember it is the sponsor's responsibility to handle communications unless requested otherwise.

  • Some committees, like the General Assembly, only feature some of the members that are typically involved. CUMUN decided to create more committees with less member-states in each to create a more involved experience for delegates. As a result, the Secretariat worked hard to cultivate a country matrix with only the countries we believed would offer to most engaging experience to delegates.

That being said, CUMUN strongly values creativity, inclusion, and individuality. If any delegate or sponsor feels there is a country they would like to see or represent that is not already offered, please reach out and we will be happy to hear out requests for addition.

  • Due to the fact that CUMUN is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) at the University of Colorado, federal regulations apply as to how we can accept payments.

While we are working on expanding our systems to accept web-based payments in the future, the Spring 2025 conference must be paid for via cash or check. Upon registration, sponsors can expect an email detailing the specifics on payment.
